Description:  The Xtmas are self-propelled (diesel-hydraulic drive) and consist of a resque unit (with platform), a tank and an equipment unit. The tank and the equipment vehicles have each a fire extinguishing equipment on the cab roof. The maximum speed when traveling alone is 100 kph / 62 mph. The fire fighting truck has a water tank with 45,000 liters and a tank for foam extract with 1,500 liters.

Description:  All cab cabins are pressure-tight and have a breathing air supply that creates an overpressure. In the cabs of the equipment vehicle and the tank unit (which are back to back as seen in the picture), a control panel for the fire extinguishing technology is additionally installed. The 4-unit trains have an extra rescue unit at the end for tunnel operation. Each of it can take up to 60 people or 40 and 6 on strechers. It has connections for the supply of medical oxygen to patients.
